Sunglint on the Alabama River

.Within this June 26, 2023, picture drawn from the International Spaceport station, sunlight polishes off the hassle-free waters of the Alabama Waterway in a phenomenon referred to as sunglint. When capturing The planet, rocketeers usually capitalize on sunglint's tendency to enhance the contrast between water areas and neighboring property areas.In the 1960s, the Alabama River was actually clogged, creating Dannelly Reservoir (the large polishing location at center left). Development of the dam likewise raised water table upriver. This resulted in flooding at numerous factors along the waterway.
